Looking at a ClustrMap

Here's a screen clipping of our community via ClustrMaps.

Showed this to my students to demonstrate what we mean when we say "global". Makes for a simple, yet effective demonstration to admins and faculty as well.

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you (even those of you who've just passed through once or twice) for all you do as professional educators and serious learners.

We are our community.

  1. Most of my students have installed clustrmaps or flag counters on their blogs as well. It's a pretty effective tool to show them that I am not their ONLY audience member. In fact, as part of our midterm reflection, lots of them wrote about knowing the others were reading their writing and how that awareness improved their spelling/ grammar/ want to explain their thoughts accurately. Pretty cool!
