I attended the conference today via web cam. It was a very cool way to explore Professional Development opportunities and I see this as the future. (Although, traveling is fun and there were some difficulties with my experience), I still was able to gain knowledge that I previously did not have. There were some issues with the video feed, which made me miss 40 minutes of the session and then I had trouble understanding the presenter but that was swiftly fixed. The other drawback was that it was very difficult to interact with the class. As with any other technological advancement, there are things to be ironed out but I will defiantly do it again.
